Hello dear art and deviantART lovers!


Today, we come with a new message to you: We need a new team!!!
We - that is me, =eschlehahn, and my partner in crime, Jen (aka `jenepooh), and we made some decisions, yes yes!


Founded several years ago under a different name first and then re-named, DELVE was created to feature art and artists to be found at the deviantART website. Because the team always consisted of members who are no professionals, but enthusiastically contributed their free time, energy and love for art, this zine was a great learning and arty experience for us all. We faced ups and downs, and team members came and went as time went by. Just as life goes sometimes. So it happened that DELVE had been dormant for nearly two years. However - for some, the memory of the joy this zine brought us, never left. And so we decided to try reviving DELVE and see how it goes. We managed to bring a small issue out last September, but our team is still very, very small.

So this is where YOU might come in: We are seeking people who would like to join our team and contribute to the individual sections of the magazine. We are not specifically searching for professionals, just for people who share our passion for all things art-related. It is by no means required to contribute to each and every issue (so sporadic guest contributors are also welcome), Still, we would need people who are reliable and open to communication within the team. As things are right now, we need to completely re-organize ourselves, so you would have plenty choices what you can do at DELVE! For the lesser experienced among you, we are listing some suggestions below this text in an annex.

Annex:

Some suggestions for "interest fields" in which one could contribute:

Contributors are welcome basically in all fields that dA offers art categories for. There are some which are most prominent (as in: mainstream art), for which we definitely need contributors. But I'd also specifically encourage that people with non-mainstream interests pipe up.

The core focus of DELVE is:

Photography
Traditional art
Digital art
Artisan crafts
Film & animations
Literature
Manga & anime
Fan art
Resources & stock images

And beyond this, as mentioned before, we'd be happy to welcome people with niche interests to make these more known to the dA community!

Articles related to art e.g. art history, art genres, art mediums, societal impact of art, artist biographies etc. etc. - the possibilities are practically endless.
Presentations and reports e. g. of dA community projects, DevMeets, contests, treasure hunts, etc. etc. pp.
